Delivery Policy

All deliveries require an adult signature.  You must be at least 21 years of age to purchase and receive wine and spirits. 

Delivery in New York City

Atlantic Cellars offers delivery to locations in Brooklyn that are less than 2 miles from our store on orders that exceed $25 pre-tax.  Our delivery zone is:

For locations that are more than 2 miles from our store, free delivery is offered on orders that exceed $150 pre-tax.

Other Areas in New York City

Atlantic Cellars offers free ground shipping to other places in New York City on orders that exceed $250 pre-tax.  Regular shipping rates apply to orders under $250. You will receive a confirmation email once your order has been processed confirming your scheduled shipment date, and then a subsequent email with your tracking number with which you may track your order. 

During times of extreme heat or cold, we will gladly hold your purchases until we can ensure safer travel. If you opt to have your order shipped during such extreme weather, Astor cannot assume responsibility for the condition of your wines upon delivery.

Delivery in New York State

Atlantic Cellars offers free ground shipping throughout New York State on orders that exceed $250 pre-tax. For orders under $150, regular shipping rates apply. You will receive a confirmation email once your order has been processed confirming your scheduled shipment date, and then a subsequent email with your tracking number with which you may track your order.

Delivery Outside New York State 

Orders are shipped via UPS or FedEx. We only offer Ground Delivery. Shipping costs will be calculated at checkout. You will receive a confirmation email once your order has been processed confirming your scheduled shipment date, and then a subsequent email with your tracking number with which you may track your order.

Prohibited States

Due to restrictive regulations, we cannot accept orders for shipment to the following locations:

Alabama, Alaska, Arkansas, Delaware, Hawaii, Illinois, Iowa, Kentucky, Maryland, Massachusetts, Mississippi, Montana, New Hampshire, New Mexico, North Dakota, Oklahoma, Rhode Island, South Dakota, Tennessee, Texas, Utah, Virginia

We do not ship internationally.

Returns & Exchanges

Unopened spirits may be returned for a full refund. Defective wines, spirits, and sakés may be exchanged for items of equal or greater value. (Subject to the restrictions below.)

If You Bought Too Much

To make event planning easier, Atlantic Cellars accepts returns on unopened bottles of spirits. If you have spirits left over after an event, you may return them, along with your original sales receipt, for a full refund within 30 days of purchase.

We believe that proper storage is crucial to the quality of wines and sakés, and since we cannot control how items are stored after they leave our store, we do not issue refunds for wines or sakés. 

If You Bought a Defective Item

If you open a bottle and find that it is defective, we will gladly exchange it for another bottle. If you exchange an item for one of greater value, you will be asked to provide the retail price difference, along with any applicable taxes, at the time of the exchange. We do not issue store credit.

Since we cannot control how bottles are stored once they leave our possession, we will only accept bottles for exchange within 30 days of purchase. Items to be returned are subject to evaluation by our staff, and must be accompanied by your original sales receipt. 

How to Return Items

Bring your items back to us within 30 days of purchase, along with your original sales receipt. If your items were shipped or delivered, please call us at (718) 623-9688 to discuss your options. 

How We Issue Refunds

Refunds on returned spirits will be issued in the original form of payment.
